Staff at Chartway Group have collected much needed donations of food, clothing, sleeping bags and personal hygiene products for Maidstone Homeless Care at their Day Centre.
The collection of food and items is the latest in the Group’s on-going support of the charity, and the items were specifically requested as being in need for clients at the Day Centre.
Tracy Maybank Assistant Manager at Maidstone Homeless Care said ‘Thank you to all at Chartway Group for today’s donations. It’s much appreciated, especially with the financial crisis currently erupting. The supplies you donated will help a lot of families on low income, as we are currently overwhelmed in the food bank there is a big increase in food parcel requests.
Mary-Anne Staddon, Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Chartway Group said ‘We are delighted to be supporting Maidstone Homeless Care again, and it’s particularly relevant at this time of the year when the weather is becoming colder and wetter. We have a wonderful team who are always ready to make donations, and we are proud that they have again rallied round and provided a range of the items which were asked for’.
