History has come full circle for Wayne and Jeanette Dickenson! A childhood filled with visits to his Grandparents, and a long family historical association for in the village, meant that Wayne had very fond memories of Coxheath, on the outskirts of Maidstone. And, when their daughter bought a new home at Westerhill Homes previous development, Linden Meadows, it was a turning point for the couple to move to Coxheath and come home to Wayne’s roots.
Recommended by their daughter, Wayne and Jeanette decided to look at the latest development by Westerhill, this time as joint venture partners with Optivo, and see what Forstal Mead, could offer them. Although originally looking to downsize from their four bedroom family home in Grove Green, Wayne, a Flooring Specialist and Jeanette, an Electrical Engineer, fell for a large three bedroom home. They were swayed by the spacious Kitchen/Dining Room and good-sized garden which their home benefitted from. The lovely countryside views at the front of their new home and more rural location really appealed to them. ‘We’ve moved from an area which had become very busy to a semi-rural and peaceful location, but it’s still close to Maidstone if we need to go into the town, so it’s a great location for us. And, we love being closer to our daughter who is really just round the corner now. We can easily pop around to see her; in fact, we’ll probably walk there now rather than using the car all the time’ says Wayne.
Wayne and Jeanette bought a Marigold house type at Forstal Mead, its well-proportioned layout offers a Kitchen/Dining Room and Lounge, three double bedrooms and en-suite, great for down-sizers like them, who still want a spacious home but with less rooms.
Forstal Mead is on the edge of Coxheath, with its primary school, local shops including a Butcher and Bakers, Post Office and Pharmacy and Library.
Offering a range of three, four and five bedroom homes, the government-backed Help to Buy Scheme, so you can buy with a 5% deposit, plus the Easy Move Scheme saving you on estate agents fees, are both available on the development.
Viewing appoints can be arranged by contacting the Sales Office at the development on 01622 744428.
